Free Letter Book of Rhymes & Songs – Letter Due north
My free letter books each contain six rhymes and songs just correct for toddlers and preschoolers. I began creating these books when my 2 i/2 year old knew just a handful of letters. Since he loved music, I idea that connecting messages to familiar nursery rhymes and songs would assistance him start to recognize the alphabet.
Information technology worked!
Now he'south 3 1/two and has many of his letter books memorized. Some books are easier to create than others — and the letter N volume was ane of the tougher ones! And so forgive me for including some less familiar rhymes in this alphabetic character book. 🙂
Hither are all the rhymes and songs you lot'll observe in the Niggling Letter "N" volume:
North is for Night (sung to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle")
Here's a lesser known verse of the familiar vocal "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star."
When the blazing sunday is gone,
When he zippo shines upon,
Then you show your little low-cal.
Twinkle, twinkle, all the nighttime.
When the blazing sunday is gone
Then he nothing shines upon.
Northward is for Basics in May (sung to the tune of "Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush-league")
Hither we go gathering nuts in May,
Nuts in may, nuts in May.
Here we become gathering nuts in May,
On a cold and frosty forenoon.
N is for Nail (also sung to the tune of "Here Nosotros Go Round the Mulberry Bush")
This is the way nosotros pound our nails,
pound our nails, pound our nails,
This is the way we pound our nails,
So early in the morning.
N is for Nose (you tin can act this one out!)
On my face, I have a olfactory organ.
And way down hither I have ten toes.
I have two eyes that help me blink.
I have a head to help me think.
I have a chin and very virtually I have two ears so I can hear.
And here are my arms to concur up high.
And hither is my hand to wave goodbye.
N is for Boom (from a lesser-known nursery rhyme dating back at to the lowest degree 500 years)
For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the equus caballus was lost.
For want of a equus caballus the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the bulletin was lost.
For desire of a message the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the desire of a horseshoe blast.
N is for Nut Tree
I had a little nut tree.
Nada would it behave,
Only a silver nutmeg
And a golden pear.
